Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actor. She's appeared in a variety of TV and film shows, such as "Christy" which is a comedy about a teenage girl called Christy Huddleston. Her other roles of note include her title character in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin started her acting career when she was seven. She was a niece of her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's kids, was a big help in landing her one small part on the television series Father Murphy. Following the time of her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting. She was able to get major roles on both television and cinema. Martin as well as being an actor, is also an accomplished photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Two daughters are hers and a son, she is also the Lupus representative and promotes awareness of the illness each day following the passing of her sister when she was the age of 19.
