Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. Her most famous role is known for her role as Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy 'Mom.' Calvano was born in California and initially was attracted to gymnastics. But she decided later to pursue a career in acting. She made her screen debut in the year 2010 with a segment of CBS program 'NCIS'. A year later her first major-screen debut came in the biographical drama production J Edgar. She became one of the best young actors to be seen over the next few several years. For her performance in "NCIS," she was awarded a Young Artist Award for Best Performance on a Television Series - Guest Starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. The actress was also nominated 2013 for an Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest actor on Disney XD's comedic series "Kickin' It". Calvano was featured in a variety in the episodes "Mom" during its Fourth Season. She was the primary role in the initial three seasons of the series. Her performance in 'Mom" earned her the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
