Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model-actress record artist and television host has been awarded numerous accolades during her career. It includes two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award as well as two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. Her film career has seen her nominated for a total of 8 PMPC Star Awards in the Movies category and the two Gawad Urian Award. Curtis starred as Hiram Kampanerang in the films (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel featured her as the Komiks' iconic Dyesebel. In addition, she was a host on the popular noontime variety show, It's Showtime (2009-2020). Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne, Australia on 17th of February in 1985. She is a Filipina as well as an Australian actress. In her long career she has been awarded numerous prizes including her two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and as well in five PMPC Star Awards. The year 2014 saw her portrayed the Komiks icon Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Also, she was the host of It's Showtime, an afternoon variety show (2009-2020). Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina born in Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian attorney. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. Her father was married to Ojales an Filipina woman from Bolinao Pangasinan in 1982. Jasmine was her sister younger than her. She is also an actress. Clare was diagnosed with an illness of the heart in 2007, when she was just 4 months old.
